Texas A&M football lost a commitment from Class of 2024 wide receiver prospect Debron Gatling Monday evening.

Gatling, who stands at 6-1, 190 pounds, hails from Alpharetta HS in Georgia and is considered to be the No. 521 overall prospect in the Class of 2024. He’s the No. 74 WR and No. 62 prospect out of Georgia.

Gatling had been committed to Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M since 2022.

Obviously, a lot has changed in College Station since Gatling committed in 2022. Fisher was fired towards the end of the season and Duke’s Mike Elko was brought on to right the ship.

Gatling originally committed to the Aggies over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, Oklahoma and so on. He had his pick from pretty much any program in the country.

And Texas A&M has done work in the portal to add some receivers. Jason Harvey, who played at Old Dominion last season, transferred into College Station on Monday.

We’ll soon see where Gatlin ends up.
