On second thought, this may not be the Browns year.

The team announced No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett was hurt in practice Wednesday and could not finish the day’s preparation in anticipation for Sunday’s opener against Pittsburgh. Thursday morning, the news wasn’t any better.

Cleveland announced Garrett has a high ankle sprain and would miss “a couple weeks” to start the 2017 season. This is the same injury that limited the former Aggie defender in his final season in College Station.

This video tweeted out by the club not only does a good job of summing up the situation regarding Garrett but essentially sums up the entire history of the organization since it moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens, of course, only to be returned via expansion. Since the move from Cleveland, the Ravens have won two Super Bowls.

Maybe this just isn’t the Browns year. On the bright side, there appears to be plenty of quarterback talent available in the next draft.
