The latest Coaches Poll is out. It’s the first poll since the preseason poll, following the games played over Week 0 and Week 1.

The top two teams in the poll remain the same: No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Ohio State. Georgia continues to receive most of the first-place votes with 51. Ohio State received 3 first-place votes. Texas, which moved up from No. 4 to No. 3, received 1 first-place vote.

Alabama and Ole Miss also moved up in the poll at the expense of Oregon, which dropped 3 spots. The Crimson Tide and Rebels were dominant in Week 1 wins, while Oregon only defeated Idaho 24-14.

Oregon wasn’t the only Big Ten team to move down with a win. Penn State leapfrogged Michigan. In the ACC, NC State also slid down 1 spot after an opening-week victory.

The biggest movers are USC, LSU and Clemson. USC moved up 9 spots with its win over LSU in Las Vegas. LSU, meanwhile, dropped 7 spots. Clemson also fell 8 spots after a blowout loss to Georgia.

Florida State and Texas A&M are the only teams ranked in the preseason to not make the Week 2 poll. Jimbo Fisher’s former teams have been replaced by Louisville and Washington.
