While it was a fairly light week for the league when it came to marquee games, the SEC still saw plenty of shakeup and storylines were abound.
Oklahoma’s hard-earned 24-17 win over Auburn highlighted the day, while Missouri’s revenge victory over South Carolina and Ole Miss’ statement win over Tulane caused some levels of movement within the rankings.

The SEC is home to half of the top 16 teams in the rankings, and the Big Ten’s 7 included teams make up the next closest conference when it comes to overall rankings.
All in all, the top 7 teams in this week’s ranking remained the same, with the rise of Indiana and fall of Illinois being the key dominoes that shifted the standings.
