The latest Coaches Poll is out and the SEC has 7 teams. Last week’s poll featured just 5 SEC teams, with Mizzou and Florida joining the rankings on Sunday.
Georgia remains No. 1 in the Coaches Poll. The Bulldogs took a break from SEC play in Week 4, improving to 4-0 on the season with a 49-21 home win over UAB.
Week 4 saw conference competition heat up in the SEC. In the conference’s lone ranked battle, Alabama defeated Ole Miss 24-10. The result is reflected in the new poll.
The Crimson Tide moved up 1 spot to No. 11. The Rebels, meanwhile, fell 4 spots from No. 16 to No. 20.
LSU moved up 1 spot with its rivalry win over Arkansas. Tennessee also moved up a spot after defeating UTSA at home.
