College football bowl schedule: Bowl games start today with these 5 matchups

The college football bowl season kicks off today with five bowl games.

SEC bowl games don’t start until Thursday, December 27, but around the country, things kickoff today.

The only ranked team that plays Saturday is No. 21 Fresno State. The Bulldogs finished 11-2 and will take on Arizona State (7-6) in the Las Vegas Bowl. The second most interesting game is between Utah State (10-2) and North Texas (9-3). The Aggies and Mean Green will play in the New Mexico Bowl.

  • Autonation Cure Bowl: Tulane vs. Louisiana, 1:30 p.m.ET, CBSSN (Orlando, FL)
  • New Mexico Bowl: Utah State vs. North Texas, 2:00 p.m. ET, ESPN (Albuquerque, NM)
  • Las Vegas Bowl: Arizona State vs. Fresno State, 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC (Las Vegas, NV)
