Georgia’s defense was embarrassed by Alabama in the SEC Championship Game earlier this month.
Well, Kirby Smart’s squad is taking out those frustrations against Michigan in the College Football Playoff semifinals against Michigan on Friday night at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
At halftime, the score is 27-3 Georgia, and many feel the rout is on.
Are we heading toward a Georgia-Alabama rematch in the national title game? Here is some of the reaction to Georgia’s defensive performance in the first half against the overmatched Wolverines:
Nick Saban deserves coach of the year for putting 41 up on this Georgia defense. Just wow. #OrangeBowl

Judging by this Georgia Michigan game, Dan Lanning will have the Oregon Ducks Defense well prepared. SHEESH! ? https://t.co/8V76hyNkas

This Georgia defense is elite bunch of first rounders in next years draft

Georgia's defense 2 sacks, 4 TFL, 2 PBU. Holding Michigan to 2.5 yards per carry. Wolvies just 99 yards on 21 plays

#Georgia's defense plays so fast and physically, you can feel it through the TV — just a different tempo of football.
Between Nakobe Dean, Jordan Davis, and Travon Walker everyone is a playmaker — so fun to watch. #CFBPlayoff

Georgia’s defense is nasty and fast. Has been all year. It’s all spearheaded by Nakobe Dean. Dude is fast, great instincts, covers ground well and terrorizes the QB. Gives me Devin White vibes honestly.

Georgia’s defense is stifling

The Orange Bowl is over. Georgia is too strong for Michigan. Once again it seems to me that one team is well prepared and the other team just came to play. I am surprised that Harbaugh’s is struggling on offense and defense. #OrangeBowl

Can the Bulldogs keep stifling the Michigan offense in the second half? Georgia’s defense isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. An angry Bulldog defense is a scary Bulldog defense.
