College football handicapper Danny Sheridan tweets odds about a number of things regarding college sports, from national championships to weekly betting lines to, on Monday, odds to be the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Sheridan named 3 players as the favorites to hear their names called No. 1 overall, including a pair of Alabama stars.

As you can see below, Sheridan has edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. as the favorite, with 3:1 odds of going first. Ohio State QB CJ Stroud and Alabama QB Bryce Young are tied for second with 7:2 odds:

Of course, the No. 1 overall pick is tricky to predict, as it often depends on which team gets that first pick. Will that team be more in need of an elite edge rusher? Or, will it be in the market for a new quarterback? We’ll find out as the NFL season gets underway next month.

Will the No. 1 draft pick also win the Heisman Trophy this year? Here are the updated Heisman Trophy odds.
