College football rankings 2018: AP Top 25 Poll Week 3 prediction

The AP Top 25 Week 3 Poll is due out Sunday afternoon, and there will be a few changes.
Most notably, will Georgia jump Clemson to become the nation’s No. 2 team behind Alabama? We project it will happen. The Bulldogs destroyed South Carolina Saturday 41-17 in impressive fashion. Georgia ran the ball down USC’s throat, and there’s nothing the Gamecocks could do about it.
Florida and South Carolina should both fall out of the top 25 after losses.
Here’s how we project the AP Top 25 for Week 3:
-
- Alabama def. Arkansas State 57-7
- Georgia def. No. 24 South Carolina 41-17
- Clemson def. Texas A&M 28-26
- Ohio State def. Rutgers 52-3
- Wisconsin def. New Mexico 45-14
- Oklahoma def. UCLA 49-21
- Auburn def. Alabama State 63-9
- Stanford beating USC 17-3

- Washington def. North Dakota 45-3
- LSU def. Southeastern Louisiana 31-0
- Virginia Tech def. William & Mary 62-17
- Penn State def. Pittsburgh 51-6
- West Virginia def. Youngstown State 52-17
- TCU def. SMU 42-12
- Mississippi State def. Kansas State 31-10
- UCF def. South Carolina State 38-0
- Boise State besating UConn 41-0 at half
