It has been a rough stretch for McNeese State.

The Cowboys are a member of the FCS and are one of many college football teams not playing this fall due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the pandemic is not what recently caused issues for the McNeese State program.

This time, it was Hurricane Delta that made landfall in Louisiana and dumped tons of rain in Louisiana and the southeastern United States. McNeese State, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, received a lot of that rain. As a result, Cowboy Stadium is currently underwater.

Hopefully, the water is gone quickly without too much damage to the field. With no fall football, there should be time to regroup and get things ready to roll for the next time the Cowboys hit the field.
