ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Knoxville on Saturday ahead of a massive Third Saturday In October tilt between No. 6Tennessee and No. 3 Alabama. The guest picker this time around as the Volunteers face the Crimson Tide for the biggest home game in years shouldn’t be a surprise: it’s none other than Peyton Manning.

Manning played the Tide 4 times in his career, coming out on top on 3 occasions. That included a 38-21 victory in Birmingham, Ala.

Manning’s legacy at Tennessee, as well as his career in the NFL, speaks for itself. Of course, it’s not his first time on the ESPN networks, as he teams up with younger brother Eli for Monday Night Football’s ManningCast on ESPN2.

Here’s hoping for what’s sure to be a memorable appearance on Saturday for one of the most beloved, and downright fun, figures in football.
