ESPN’s premier pregame show is being held from Happy Valley Saturday for the Michigan-Penn State whiteout game.
On Saturday morning in the 10:00 a.m. ET hour, the pregame show announced the guest picker would be Good Morning America co-anchor Lara Spencer. Spencer attended Penn State on an athletic scholarship for springboard and platform diving. She was a nationally ranked diver and was named an All-American her senior year in 1991.
Spencer joined Good Morning America in 1999 as a national correspondent. She’s also a national correspondent on Nightline and ABC News.
She was named the grand marshal of Penn State’s homecoming in 2014. She is pictured below on the right.
