College GameDay was in Norman on Saturday morning to preview the big-time Week 2 matchup between the Oklahoma Sooners and Michigan Wolverines.

Though the Week 2 slate isn’t quite as loaded as Week 1 was, there are still some intriguing games, especially in the SEC. In addition to Oklahoma-Michigan, the SEC sees the return of the Border War between the Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks. The SEC conference slate also begins on Saturday, with Ole Miss visiting Kentucky, looking for revenge.

The College GameDay crew of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit (in its first show after Lee Corso’s retirement) was joined by Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, an Oklahoma legend, to pick the day’s winners.

Herbstreit picked Mississippi State as his super dog, choosing them to cover the 6.5-point spread against Arizona State. McAfee chose Kansas (+5.5) to cover at Mizzou.

As you can see below, they picked a couple of other SEC matchups in addition to Oklahoma-Michigan. See who the ESPN crew and Trae Young think will win Saturday’s Week 2 matchups:

Kansas at Mizzou

  • Desmond: Kansas
  • Saban: Mizzou
  • McAfee: Kansas
  • Young: Mizzou
  • Herbstreit: Mizzou

No. 12 Arizona State at Mississippi State

  • Desmond: Arizona State
  • Saban: Arizona State
  • McAfee: Arizona State
  • Young: Mississippi State
  • Herbstreit: Mississippi State

No. 20 Ole Miss at Kentucky

  • Desmond: Ole Miss
  • Saban: Ole Miss
  • McAfee: Ole Miss
  • Young: Kentucky
  • Herbstreit: Ole Miss

No. 15 Michigan at No. 18 Oklahoma

  • Desmond: Michigan
  • Saban: Michigan
  • McAfee: Oklahoma
  • Young: Oklahoma
  • Herbstreit: No pick (he’s calling the game)

Will the crew be proven right? We’re about to find out during an exciting Saturday slate of games!
