ESPN’s “College GameDay” will broadcast from the “THE” campus of Ohio State on Saturday ahead of the OSU-Penn State game. The World Wide Leader hasn’t announced the show’s celebrity guest picker, but multiple reports state it will be Buckeyes great Eddie George.
Kirk Herbstreit apparently let the cat out of the bag on Friday afternoon:
Kirk Herbstreit said today that he believes tomorrow’s College Gameday guest picker is former Ohio State Heisman-winning running back Eddie George.

Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors also reported that it will be George joining Lee Corso and company for the picks segment:
Former Ohio State RB Eddie George, a Philadelphia native who chose OSU after Penn State recruited him as an LB, will be the guest picker for ESPN’s @CollegeGameDay tomorrow.
George was also guest picker when GameDay was on campus for Ohio State’s game against Oklahoma in 2017.

George might have been picked to try to win over Buckeyes fans considering taking part in the boycott of ESPN’s traveling pregame show organized by Ohio State fans claiming the network is biased toward the SEC. Fans in Columbus looking to attend a morning pregame show will have options as FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” (which features former Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer) and the Big Ten Network’s “BTN Tailgate” will also be broadcasting from OSU.
