College GameDay will be at North Carolina-South Carolina for Week 1. The guest picker for the game was announced on Thursday via social media.
Country music star and South Carolina fan, Darius Rucker will be making his own picks for some of the top games in Week 1.
Rucker, Lainey Wilson, and The Cadillac Three will also be showcasing their own version of “Comin’ To Your City” at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN.
Rucker shared how excited he is.
“Tune in at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN where me, Lainey Wilson, and The Cadillac Three will present the new version of ‘Comin’ To Your City’,” said Rucker. “Then stick around, because I’m gonna be the guest picker on ESPN College GameDay.”

South Carolina and North Carolina last met in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in 2021. The Gamecocks won the game by a score of 38-21 to earn the right to have Shane Beamer’s head topped with mayo.
