Colorado LB Brendan Gant has apologized for his postgame interaction with an Oregon fan following the Buffaloes’ loss on Saturday.

A video posted to social media shows Gant interacting with fans as he heads to the locker room after Colorado’s 42-6 loss at Oregon. At one point, Gant decides to reach into the stands and snatch a bandana off a Ducks fan who has his back turned.

The video was originally posted on TikTok. The post on X (formerly Twitter) was made after 2 a.m. ET Sunday. By 11:40 a.m. ET, Gant had taken to social media to publicly apologize.

Gant is in his fifth season of college football. He transferred to Colorado after spending 4 seasons at Florida State. Gant’s Colorado bio lists him as a defensive participant in the Oregon game, with no other statistics on the season.

Colorado hosts No. 8 USC on Saturday.
