Which conference will win the National Championship? South Point lists SEC as heavy favorite
It’s been a popular narrative this offseason that the SEC is no longer the nation’s strongest college football conference.
Despite the league producing the most NFL talent, signing the best overall prospects in recruiting and having a rising crop of quarterback talent, many argue the SEC lacks from a coaching standpoint. If that is indeed the case, the latest odds don’t reflect that belief.
According to the South Point sportsbook out of Las Vegas, the SEC is still the overwhelming favorite to win the national championship this season. Meanwhile, the conference some suggest is better than the SEC is listed all the way down in fifth place, behind the Big 12 — imagine that.
