We can now add the Southern Miss-UTEP game to the list of college football games postponed this weekend due to COVID.
Southern Miss announced the news on Friday along with the following statement from school AD, Jeremy McClain:
“The health and safety of everyone involved continues to be our guiding force which made this decision to postpone the UTEP game the appropriate one. We are disappointed for our student-athletes who will not get a chance to participate for a second-straight weekend, however, we will work with UTEP, in conjunction with Conference USA, to reschedule this game for later this season.”
The other college football games set to be played on Saturday that have already been postponed include Vanderbilt at Missouri, LSU at Florida, Appalachian State at Georgia Southern, Oklahoma State at Baylor, Cincinnati at Tulsa and FIU at Charlotte.
