The COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyday life to change drastically in the past couple of months, with social distancing guidelines in effect and mass gatherings banned across most of the country.

However, recently, former Mississippi State star Dak Prescott (now the Dallas Cowboys’ QB) got himself in hot water for hosting a party at his home for around 30 guests.

Naturally, Prescott’s decision drew widespread criticism. On Tuesday, Cowboys executive Stephen Jones said he thinks Prescott realizes the error of his ways (via TMZ Sports):

“I think they’re certainly aware now of how sensitive these situations are,” Jones said on Tuesday … “I don’t think you’ll be seeing that anymore.”

Regardless of whether or not Prescott’s party was illegal, it was at the very least a bad look, as evidenced by the response from the public and media outlets.

Prescott has yet to issue a statement on the party publicly.
