SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic: Dan Mullen will win SEC, national title at Florida

Cole Cubelic is setting the bar extremely high for Dan Mullen in Gainesville. Like, as high as it can go.

The SEC Network analyst and radio host said he believes with Mullen at the helm, Florida will win an SEC championship and a national championship:

As for how long it takes Mullen to deliver Florida its first SEC and national titles since 2008, that’s another story. The Gators are coming off a 4-win season, and with Georgia threatening to become Alabama East, Cubelic’s prediction won’t likely come to fruition any time in the near future.

Mullen was a part of that 2008 Florida squad, and the hope is obviously that he’ll put an end to the Gators’ offensive struggles in the post-Tim Tebow era. The job Mullen did turning around Mississippi State was obviously nothing to scoff at.

But needless to say, Cubelic is going to have to ride or die with a prediction like that:
