D1Baseball includes 8 SEC baseball teams in updated rankings, including 3 of the top 5

This truly has been a banner year on the diamond for the Southeastern Conference and that trend continues with the latest D1Baseball rankings.
In the latest rankings, the league has three of the top five teams in the nation and eight of the top 25 — and that doesn’t even include the two teams currently rated in the top 15 of the updated RPI ranking. Based on those data points, it’s not a stretch to say 10 of the league’s teams are title contenders this season.
Here are the eight SEC teams currently ranked by D1Baseball.com:
#3 Vanderbilt — 38-9
#4 Arkansas — 37-12
#5 Mississippi State — 38-10
#8 Georgia — 37-12
#11 Ole Miss — 32-17
#15 LSU — 30-18
#17 Texas A&M — 32-17-1
#21 Missouri — 33-16-1
Note: Tennessee (#10) and Auburn (#15) rank in the top 15 in RPI but are not ranked in D1Baseball’s top 25.
