No. 2 Clemson (5-0) is currently blowing out unranked Florida State (3-2) – the team Dabo Swinney said should be 5-0 – 42-7 in the second half. Perhaps Swinney was talking up the ‘Noles because he wanted a blowout to be seen as a big boost to the Tigers’ resume.

Earlier in the game, with Clemson up just 28-0, Swinney ripped into Tigers K B.T. Potter on the sideline over a missed field goal.

Maybe Potter made the mistake of saying something about Trevor Lawrence’s health.

The blowout in Death Valley is late in the third quarter. The game can be seen on ABC.
