Dabo Swinney was asked about Donald Trump’s plans to attend the Clemson-South Carolina game at his weekly press conference on Tuesday.

Swinney said he only cared about who was playing in the game, not who would be in the stands. He joked that he’d only care about the former President’s presence if Shane Beamer dialed up a play for him out of the backfield.

“I don’t care who comes to the game. I just care about who’s playing in the game,” Swinney said. “Unless Shane (Beamer) is going to put him in and throw him a halfback pass or something.”

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster confirmed Trump’s plans to attend the game on Tuesday. Here’s a statement from the Governor’s office:

“Gov. McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette look forward to joining President Trump this Saturday to show him first-hand the passion and tradition that makes this rivalry the greatest in college football.”

Clemson will be looking to avenge its defeat to South Carolina from last season. That win by the Gamecocks snapped a streak of seven consecutive victories for the Tigers in this series.

Kickoff on Saturday is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
