Donald Trump will be in attendance for an SEC rivalry game.

The former president will be at the South Carolina vs. Clemson game on Saturday, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster confirmed on Tuesday. Trump will join McMaster for the game in Columbia on Saturday.

“Gov. McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette look forward to joining President Trump this Saturday to show him first-hand the passion and tradition that makes this rivalry the greatest in college football,” said governor’s office spokesman Brandon Charochak.

Trump has already made an appearance at a college football game this season, going to the Iowa vs. Iowa State game in September along with a few other presidential hopefuls like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Trump’s appearance at the game comes just a few months before the state’s First in the South Republican Presidential Primary. Perhaps his appearance at the game is motivated by the hope of winning some fans over.

South Carolina is looking to reach bowl eligibility with a win over Clemson, but it won’t be an easy one. The Tigers are looking for a revenge game after the Gamecocks upset them last season.
