Can Dak Prescott go from NFL Rookie of the Year to NFL Most Valuable Player in the span of a year?

After helping lift Dan Mullen’s MSU program into the national spotlight, Prescott managed to shock the NFL world last season and seamlessly replaced long-time Dallas starter Tony Romo in the lineup.
Following his incredible debut, featuring individual success — he threw for 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns and only four interceptions, as well as his team’s success — Dallas was the No. 1 seed in the NFC after going 13-3 in the regular season, the NFL world is no longer doubting Prescott’s ability heading into his sophomore campaign. So much so, that Dallas’ starting quarterback currently has the third-best odds to take home the league MVP trophy next season:
