Dan Mullen took to social media to reveal his pick to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy.

The coach-turned-analyst reveals his picks for all the big games each weekend, so it’s fitting that he picked a Heisman winner as well. The former Mississippi State and Florida head coach made it known that he does not have a vote, but if he did, he would give it to LSU’s Jayden Daniels.

Mullen chose Daniels to win, followed by Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is the other finalist who will be at the ceremony, but Mullen did not include him in the top 3.

Daniels has set the college football world on fire this season. The signal-caller became the first quarterback in NCAA FBS history to eclipse 12,000 career passing yards and 3,000 career rushing yards. Daniels led all QBs in rushing yards and was 3rd in passing yards, behind Penix and Nix.

Daniels is looking to become the second LSU QB to win the Heisman Trophy after Joe Burrow won it in 2019.

The Heisman Trophy Ceremony will be broadcast on ESPN on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
