Coaches (or perhaps the staffers running their accounts) need to be careful to make sure they’re messaging the right people on social media.
Former Florida State standout Terrence Brooks trolled Dan Mullen after receiving a Florida recruiting graphic via direct message on Instagram from the Gators coach’s verified account.

The recruiting graphic message was presumably intended for class of 2022 prospect Terrance Brooks. The Plano, Texas native is a 4-star cornerback with 40 scholarship offers. He recently visited UF campus on June 11, per his 247Sports profile. His other listed visits are Oregon (June 4), Texas (June 18) and Alabama (June 25).
Unfortunately for Mullen, the message went to the wrong Brooks. Terrence, who helped FSU win the 2013 national championship, is currently a member of the Houston Texans.
