Danny Kanell has 2 SEC teams in his top 8; Texas A&M dropped after narrow win at Colorado

Danny Kanell puts together his weekly top 8 rankings every Sunday, and they’re often questionable.
He seems to have his own system for ranking teams, and sometimes that system contradicts itself.
This week, he included 2 SEC teams in his top 8 — Alabama and Georgia at No. 1 and No. 2 — but Texas A&M fell out of the rankings altogether:

Yes, the Aggies struggled in a win over Colorado in Denver on Saturday, but Notre Dame struggled at home against Toledo. Both teams barely eked out victories.
But, even though Notre Dame only dropped from No. 6 last week to No. 7 this week, Texas A&M fell from No. 7 to outside the top 8.
We’ll see if the Aggies can fight their way back into the top 8 with a win over New Mexico this coming weekend.
