Danny Kanell enjoys taking every opportunity to drop the SEC down a peg, and with his latest rankings, the Sirius XM and CBS Sports analyst dropped the SEC to No. 3 in his ranking.
Kanell put Ohio State at No. 1 after the Buckeyes knocked off Michigan State 49-20 on Saturday to stay undefeated, thanks to 6 touchdown passes from CJ Stroud. Kanell then had Clemson at No. 2 following the Tigers’ rout of Boston College, 31-3.
Last week, Kanell had Alabama at No. 1, Georgia at No. 4, Tennessee at No. 8 and Ole Miss at No. 10.
This week, Kanell dropped Alabama to No. 3 after the last-second win over Texas A&M, Georgia remained at No. 4 thanks to a big win over Auburn, Tennessee moved up to No. 5 following the LSU win, and Ole Miss slipped to No. 12 after pulling away from Vanderbilt.
One big mover was TCU up 4 spots from last week to No. 8.
