Missouri reaches into Florida to land commitment from defensive back Davion Sistrunk

Missouri just landed its fifth commitment spanning back to the last week of April as Florida defensive back Davion Sistrunk announced his commitment to the Tigers on Wednesday.

Eli Drinkwitz was quick to celebrate the news by posting his trademark #NewZou21 hashtag the coach posts following any commitment the Tigers receive in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Sistrunk does not yet have a recruiting ranking according to 247Sports but does hold scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Colorado and Illinois, among others.

Based on his growing offer list, the Melbourne, Fla., native is likely to rise in the recruiting rankings once more attention is paid to the whenever recruiting camps open back up following the coronavirus pandemic.
