Alabama star Derrick Henry has been named one of the finalists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year.

Henry has had a monster season for Alabama. He leads the nation with 1,797 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. He has helped the Crimson Tide to an 11-1 record, the No. 2 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings and a spot in the SEC Championship Game.

Last week, Henry rushed for a school-record 271 yards on 46 carries to lead Alabama to a 29-13 win over archrival Auburn.

The other four finalists are Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey, Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and Iowa defensive back Desmond King.

The winner will be announced on Dec. 10 on SportsCenter.
