The honors keep on piling up for Alabama running back Derrick Henry.

Henry has been named the Maxwell Award Player of the Week. He was previously named SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and the National Offensive Player of the Week by the Football Writers Association of America on Tuesday.

Henry rushed for 147 yards on only 13 carries and three touchdowns against the No. 20 Wisconsin Badgers. In his last three games, Henry has rushed for 383 yards, averaging 8.3 yards per touch, while adding six rushing touchdowns.

Seeing Henry torch Wisconsin Saturday brought back questions of why Lane Kiffin didn’t ride his horse down the stretch against Ohio State last year. He won’t make that mistake again.
