Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor won’t stop talking, even after his one-game suspension. The junior, who has been outspoken about numerous topics this offseason, tweeted that he will continue doing things his way Friday.

Tabor is one of the SEC’s best returning defensive backs and has gained plenty of attention heading into the 2016 season. However, part of it has been due to his off-field actions, which includes several jabs at SEC East rival Tennessee and his recent suspension which stemmed from an altercation with C’yontai Lewis at Florida’s practice Tuesday night.

Head coach Jim McElwain suspended both players from practice and the Gators’ season opener against Massachusetts on Sept. 3. Though both players will return next Thursday, McElwain insisted that they will remain inactive for Week 1.

“We’ll look forward to getting those guys back hopefully on Thursday of next week and move forward and support them in every way we can and yet not enable,” McElwain told News 4 in Jacksonville.

Tabor recorded 39 tackles, four interceptions and one sack and earned first team All-SEC honors in 2015.  He appeared in all 13 games as a sophomore and made nine starts.
