Sam Pittman announces Arkansas receiver De’Vion Warren will be out for the season
Tough news to share from Fayetteville as Sam Pittman just announced receiver De’Vion Warren will not be able to finish out the season for the Razorbacks.
Warren was having a career year for Arkansas but he was unfortunately injured during the fourth quarter of the Florida game.
Pittman was asked for a status update on the receiver on Monday morning and the Arkansas coach announced Warren suffered a torn ACL against Florida.
“De’Vion Warren is out. He’s got an ACL but he’s got a good attitude about it. I feel terrible for him,” Pittman said during his first press conference of LSU week.
So far this season, Warren had 15 catches for 278 yards and three touchdowns in seven games against SEC competition. All of those numbers are career highs for the senior receiver.
Due to the NCAA giving all players a free year of eligibility, Warren will have the opportunity to return to Arkansas next season if he has any interest in playing one more season for the Razorbacks.
