The college football regular season has reached its penultimate (one of our favorite words) weekend. While this might be “Cupcake Week” around the SEC, there are plenty of intriguing matchups on the slate still.
Whether it’s USC at Oregon or Tennessee at Florida or Mizzou at Oklahoma, there’s a lot to like and there’s plenty of money to be made in DFS contests.
Every week, our DFS experts — Andrew Olson and Adam Spencer — scour the Underdog app to find their favorite college football and NFL picks. See who they’re riding with or fading this weekend below. But first…

Week 13 CFB Picks
Here’s who the guys like for the penultimate week of the college football regular season:
Andrew Olson
Jayden Maiava, USC QB: Lower than 247.5 pass yards
What a fascinating matchup. Maiva is closing in on 3,000 yards passing this season. Oregon’s defense has allowed only 1,273 passing yards all year. Only one opposing QB has even cracked 200 yards on the Oregon defense (Fernando Mendoza, 215). I’m trusting the Duck defense at home.
Nyck Harbor, South Carolina WR: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving TDs
Harbor has a receiving touchdown in each of his last 4 games. His South Carolina Gamecocks are taking a break from SEC play to face Coastal Carolina on Saturday. The Chanticleers are in the bottom half of the Sun Belt in receiving TDs allowed with 18 on the season.
DJ Lagway, Florida QB: Higher than 234.5 pass yards
Lagway and the Florida Gators are surely glad to be back home in The Swamp. Tennessee’s pass defense is in the bottom half of the SEC against conference opponents (No. 10) and away from home (No. 14). Lagway cleared this number in home games against Texas and Mississippi State.
Adam Spencer
Isaiah Sategna, Oklahoma WR: Lower than 70.5 receiving yards
I am predicting a low-scoring game in Norman this weekend when Mizzou comes to town. John Mateer hasn’t been the same since his thumb injury. I think the Tigers can limit the dangerous Oklahoma receiver to 70 or fewer yards.
Carson Beck, Miami QB: Higher than 250.5 pass yards
Miami needs to keep winning games and needs to do so with some style points to work its way back into the Playoff mix. Look for Beck to air it out early and often this weekend against Virginia Tech.
Sawyer Robertson, Baylor QB: Higher than 277.5 pass yards
I think Arizona-Baylor could turn into a shootout. Whenever Robertson’s passing yards total is below 300, I give him a long look. I’m pulling the trigger on him to have another massive outing this weekend.
Week 12 NFL Picks
And here’s who the guys are going with for Sunday’s NFL action:
Andrew Olson
Drake Maye, New England Patriots QB: Higher than 251.5 pass yards
Maye, who has everyone buzzing, has cleared this total in each of his last 4 games. He’s got a good shot at continuing the streak. For the year, the Cincinnati Bengals are one of the more favorable matchups for quarterbacks.
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions QB: Higher than 251.5 pass yards
Goff had a very disappointing outing against the Philadelphia Eagles, going 14-of-37 passing. Even in a poor showing, Goff still threw for 255 yards. The number feels like an overreaction, as the New York Giants are a very favorable matchup for a potential bounce-back game.
Adam Spencer
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens QB: Higher than 208.5 pass yards
The Ravens used up all of their margin for error early this season. They can’t afford to let a win against a team like the Jets slip away. Look for Baltimore to come out firing behind QB Lamar Jackson. He should be in line for a massive outing.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks WR: Higher than 96.5 receiving yards
The Seahawks are going to be angry after letting a win slip away against the Rams last week. Tennessee is one of the worst teams in the league. JSN could reach 97+ receiving yards by halftime of this matchup.
