The DFS season is officially heating up! College football is heading into Week 2, and now the NFL regular-season has kicked off.

The Eagles held off the Cowboys in the inaugural game of the 2025 season on Thursday night, but there are plenty more great games to come this weekend. The college football slate isn’t as exciting as it was in Week 1, but there are some great matchups on the board for DFS fans.

Every week, our DFS experts — Andrew Olson and Adam Spencer — will share their 3 favorite CFB picks and their top 2 NFL picks via Underdog. Keep reading below to see who they like for this weekend’s action.

Our Week 2 CFB Picks

Here’s who we like for Saturday’s Week 2 college football slate:

Andrew Olson

Jadan Baugh, Florida RB: Higher than 74.5 rush yards

Even with USF’s impressive showing against Boise State, I still like Baugh to have a big game Saturday. In his last 3 games, Baugh has 34 carries for 255 yards. It’s always a good time to run the Baugh.

Nate Frazier, Georgia RB: Higher than 54.5 rush yards

In Week 1, Gunner Stockton was Georgia’s leading rusher in Week 1 with 10 carries for 73 yards. Good for Stockton getting off to a solid start as the new QB1. Frazier went a decent 11 for 47. With SEC play coming up, it’s time to protect Stockton and give Frazier a heavier workload.

Ty Simpson, Alabama QB: Higher than 1.5 pass TDs

Get ready for Alabama to beat up on ULM after a stunning loss to FSU that has people questioning Kalen DeBoer’s future. With fans unhappy, it’s time to put on an offensive show like DeBoer and Ryan Grubb used to at Washington.

Adam Spencer

Sawyer Robertson, Baylor QB: Higher than 291.5 pass yards

This dude threw for 400+ yards against Auburn in Week 1. Even against a tough SMU squad, look for him to sling it 40+ times. That’s going to be Baylor’s only chance to win. Take advantage of these Robertson passing yards totals being below 300 yards while you still can.

CJ Baxter, Texas RB: Higher than 54.5 rush yards

This is going to be a get-right game across the board for the Texas Longhorns. They actually ran the ball pretty well at Ohio State in Week 1. Red-zone struggles are what did in the Texas offense. Baxter should have a big outing against San Jose State.

Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss RB: Higher than 14.5 rush attempts

Lacy was the star of the Ole Miss backfield in Week 1. The former Mizzou back figures to get plenty of work in Lane Kiffin‘s up-tempo offense. The Rebels are going to be out for revenge after Kentucky embarrassed them last year. Look for plenty of offense from Ole Miss.

Our Week 1 NFL Picks

Here are our best picks for the return of the NFL:

Andrew Olson

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR: Higher than 71.5 receiving yards

Evans is consistently reliable for the Bucs. I like him to get off to a hot start, as Baker Mayfield should look to Evans more in Week 1 with Chris Godwin out and Emeka Egbuka making his debut.

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals TE: Higher than 61.5 receiving yards

Last year, New Orleans had issues with defending tight ends. The team is new, but the 2025 outlook isn’t great for Saints. McBride, meanwhile, is coming off a breakout season.

Adam Spencer

Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals WR: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving TDs

I’m going with a pair of former SEC stars to find the end zone in Week 1, starting with LSU legend Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals have been like the Bayou Bengals in recent years, shooting themselves in the foot in Week 1. LSU got the monkey off its back. Now Chase and the Bengals will do the same by trouncing the Browns.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions RB: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving TDs

The Packers are trending up after trading for Micah Parsons. The Lions have to replace a couple of key offensive linemen and lost OC Ben Johnson to the Bears. But I still think Gibbs, a former Alabama Crimson Tide star, will have a strong Week 1, finding the end zone at least once as either a runner or receiver.
