Dillon Bell will be back in Athens next season.

On Tuesday, the junior wide receiver announced on Instagram his intention to return to Georgia for the 2025 campaign. Bell. “Let’s run this back,” he said in the post.

Bell could have declared for the NFL Draft or explored a transfer elsewhere. Instead, he’s re-upping with the Dawgs, who have quickly flipped their wide receiver room. Bell will be joined next season by former USC receiver Zachariah Branch, former Texas A&M receiver Noah Thomas, and 5 new high school recruits.

Bell has made 42 appearances for the Bulldogs over the last 3 years. He started 12 times this season and made 13 starts over the previous 2 years.

This season, the 6-foot-1 wideout made 43 receptions for 466 yards and 4 scores — all career highs. He was consistently trusted by Carson Beck to make contested catches, drawing 25 targets and bringing in 13 contested balls. Arkansas wideout Andrew Armstrong was the only player in the SEC with more contested targets or contested catches this season. But Bell also had a persistent issue with drops. Per Pro Football Focus, Bell dropped 6 catchable balls.

With Dominic Lovett out of eligibility and Arian Smith declaring for the NFL Draft, Bell will be Georgia’s top returning receiver. The Dawgs have also lost Michael Jackson III and Anthony Evans to the transfer portal.
