Does Auburn have a shot to upset No. 1 Alabama? SEC Network analysts discuss

Most everyone thinks that Saturday’s Iron Bowl will get ugly, with Alabama thumping Auburn, but with rivalry games, sometimes predicted losers tend to surprise and rise to the occasion. After all, Auburn did beat Alabama last year.
Will that happen Saturday?
SEC Network analysts Jordan Rodgers and DJ Shockley think it could get ugly for Auburn, via the SEC Network.
“I really don’t (think Auburn has a chance),” says Rodgers. “I’m an analyst and I love grinding on the film. I have been looking for a way or anything on Auburn’s offense that I can hang my hat on so they can put up some points. I just don’t see it, because they can’t run the football. If they go to pass, their offensive line isn’t great. They’ve got Quinnen Williams to deal with. (Jarrett) Stidham’s not great against pressure. Alabama is playing too good of football right now.”
Shockley added, “It’s going to be a tough task for Auburn, but it starts with the run game. If you can’t run the football — we’ve seen not too many teams not be able to run the ball against Alabama.”
Rodgers added, “I think it’s going to be ugly.”
Alabama and Auburn kick off Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports.
