Jalen Hurts did not play well in Philadelphia’s narrow win over the Chicago Bears in Week 15. The former Alabama QB threw 2 interceptions and failed to throw a touchdown pass in what was easily his weakest game of the season.
And there was good reason for that. It came out this week that Hurts was playing hurt. The star Eagles QB was playing with a sprained shoulder and was expected by some to need rest for next week’s crucial matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
Head coach Nick Sirianni is not convinced. He said Tuesday the he cannot rule Hurts out for this coming week.
#Eagles HC Nick Sirianni said he’s not ruling out Jalen Hurts for this week because he’s a fast healer. “His body is not like ours. I will not rule him out.”

Hurts has been playing like an MVP this season when healthy. He’s thrown for 3,472 yards, 22 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions this season, 2 of which came Sunday while he was injured.
