Ed Orgeron provides update on LSU star DE Arden Key’s future

The LSU Tigers will be without star pass rusher Arden Key for their Citrus Bowl matchup against Notre Dame, but that’s something they’re used to at this point.
Key hasn’t been himself this year, playing in only eight games and recording only four sacks after picking up 11 sacks in 2016.
Many have speculated that Key will go to the NFL after this season, but he has yet to make an official announcement, though. However, coach Ed Orgeron said he “can make an educated guess” about Key’s future:
Coach O on whether Arden Key, who won't play in the bowl, has told him about his future plans.
"No. But I can make an educated guess."#LSU— Scott Rabalais (@RabalaisAdv) December 27, 2017
Key has not been around the Tigers during bowl preparations, so Coach O clearly thinks he’s off to the NFL after the season.
The Tigers have been fine without Key this year, though, so it wouldn’t be a big loss at this point. Key’s magical 2016 season will be remembered for a long time in Baton Rouge.
