Ed Orgeron has welcomed back Tre Bradford with open arms after the running back had a busy offseason between LSU and Oklahoma.
Bradford has enrolled in classes at LSU and joined the football team after he left the Tigers last year via the transfer portal, and joined the Oklahoma program. He was expected to help the Sooners with a shallow depth chart at running back.
On the SEC coaches media teleconference on Wednesday, Orgeron discussed Bradford’s return.
“He’s like family. We welcome him back. … We told him listen, if you go there and it doesn’t go well, you can always come back,” Orgeron said. “Tre’s a good kid.”
Will he play this week against McNeese?
“That’s up in the air right now,” Orgeron said. “We’re still waiting to get that cleared. … I’m not sure if he’ll be able to play this weekend.”
Orgeron also added that everyone was happy to see him.
“We welcome him back. He’s an excellent player, his teammates welcomed him back and he was all smiles yesterday,” Orgeron said.
