Ed Orgeron said he usually doesn’t petition the SEC office to review calls.

He’s changing that trend this week.

LSU’s interim coach said during a Monday news conference that he is sending inquiries to league officials about calls made during the No. 19 Tigers’ 10-0 loss to No. 1 Alabama last Saturday.

Orgeron is most likely referring to Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts’ fourth-quarter touchdown scramble the broke a scoreless tie. Replay appears to show several instances of holding or blocks in the back of LSU players, which sprung the 21-yard touchdown on a critical third-and-9.
