Elijah Robinson and the Texas A&M Aggies face their final challenge of the regular season Saturday against LSU.

Robinson earned his first win as an interim HC at Texas A&M Saturday against Abilene Christian. Obviously, the Tigers are a pretty stiff jump in competition.

It all starts with a truly dangerous offense, led by Heisman candidate Jayden Daniels and one of the best offensive attacks in the country. Daniels has thrown for 3,577 yards with 36 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions, not to mention an impressive 1,014 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns.

“He’s extremely talented, does a really good job,” Robinson said of Daniels Monday. “He’s rushed for over 1000 yards, threw for over 3,500 yards and has a great coach in Coach Kelly. Again, he’s a problem, he’s a true weapon so we have to be on top of our game to have a chance.”

Daniels is an extraordinary talent, but he’s also throwing to some of the best wide receivers in the country, Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. Here’s what Robinson had to say about LSU’s impressive duo:

“They have 2 first round draft pick talent. Look at the stats, the talent, they have 2 first round picks,” Robinson said. “Both these guys have over 1000 yards receiving, you don’t see that often, 2 guys on the same team. Even Lacy, he’s a guy that’s 500+ receiving yards, so they have a talented group, it’ll be a great challenge for us and our guys are looking forward to it.”

Here’s more from Robinson’s Monday press conference:
