Elijah Rushing, 5-star 2024 EDGE, places 3 SEC programs in his top 12

Elijah Rushing is one to watch in the 2024 recruiting cycle. The Tuscon, Ariz. product is ranked among the top 5 edge rushers in the country and is one of the top 20 players nationally.
Naturally, a player of Rushing’s status means a number of major programs have come calling as he has accumulated 31 offers thus far. On Monday, he revealed his 12 finalists on his Twitter account, with 3 in the SEC.
Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are the schools within the conference vying for his services. They’ll go up against Arizona, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington.
Rushing has totaled 60 tackles, including 11.5 for a loss and 10.5 sacks, during his junior season. He had 75 tackles and 7.5 sacks as a sophomore.
