Tennessee’s 2019 class continues to get better. Elite North Carolina ATH Quavaris Crouch is the latest commitment for the Volunteers. He made the announcement live on WSOC.
Listed at 6-2, 230 pounds, the Charlotte native is ranked the No. 1 North Carolina product, No. 2 athlete and No. 39 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.
Crouch is the latest addition in a flood of elite talent pledging to Tennessee. The Early Signing Period for the 2019 period kicked off Wednesday when Tennessee signed the bulk of the class headlined by 5-star OT Wanya Morris. On Thursday, award-winning 4-star RB Eric Gray became the newest signee in the class. Early Friday, former 5-star recruit, DT Aubrey Solomon, announced he was transferring from Michigan to Tennessee.
Crouch, once considered a Clemson-Michigan battle, makes commitment No. 22 (expected to be signee No. 19) in a UT recruiting class that is climbing up the rankings. He was recruited to Tennessee by Brian Niedermeyer and Chris Rumph. In addition to being an early signee, Crouch is also listed as an early enrollee, meaning Vols fans can expect to see him in orange and white this spring.
Adding Crouch boosts UT’s 2019 class’ Composite rankings to No. 13 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC.
