You have to give credit to Jeremy Pruitt and his staff for getting several of the nation’s top cornerback prospects, from all across the country, to visit Knoxville over the last few weekends.

The Vols have hosted the nation’s No. 2 CB Tyson Campbell (from south Florida) last weekend, the nation’s No. 3 CB Olaijah Griffin (from Los Angeles) in December and this weekend are hosting Isaac Taylor Stuart (from San Diego), the No. 4-ranked CB in the nation. All of which were not even considering Tennessee under Butch Jones.

All three remain uncommitted for the time being but Tennessee is not considered the favorite to land any of the three at this time. With only days left until National Signing Day, making a big impression on Taylor Stuart could be the difference in keeping the California native away from USC, Alabama and Texas A&M. The 6-foot-2, 187-pound DB is ranked as the nation’s No. 32 overall prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Should Tennessee pull a late surprise and sign Taylor Stuart, he would be the highest rated prospect on the Vols currently signed/committed board for the 2018 recruiting cycle. However, should linebacker Quay Walker sign with the Vols, he would outrank the San Diego defensive back.
