Elite defensive end recruit LaBryan Ray releases an All-SEC Top 6 list

LaBryan Ray’s list of finalists does a good job of showing off what an elite 2017 prospect the Madison, Ala., defensive end is entering his final year of high school football. Rated as the No. 1 player from the state, Ray appears all but set to attend an SEC school.

Sunday night, Ray revealed his All-SEC Top 6 of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee:

Earlier this month, the Vols made some waves with its creative recruiting of Ray by sending him a Pokemon recruiting graphic. Tennessee must realize it’s best to get creative when you are pursuing 247Sports‘ No. 57 overall prospect, the No. 1 prospect from Alabama and No. 3 strong-side defensive end in the nation.

According to John Garcia Jr. of Scout, Ray has yet to determine a solid date to commit and plans on taking all five of his official visits this fall.

Ray currently has 30 scholarship offers, judging from his junior season highlight reel, it’s not hard to see why:
