There’s a good chance Arjei Henderson winds up playing his college football in the SEC.

The nation’s No. 50 overall prospect for the 2019 recruiting cycle announced Tuesday he’s down to Alabama, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. The 6-foot-1, 179-pound receiver ranks as the nation’s No. 8 receiver and the No. 7 overall recruit from Texas, according to 247Spots Composite Rankings.

Henderson whittled his list down after landing scholarship offers from 11 SEC offers. Interestingly enough, in-state Texas did not make his list, despite offering him a chance to play in Austin.

Over the last two seasons, Henderson has a combined 181 catches, 2,569 yards and 32 receiving touchdowns.
