College GameDay announces country music star as guest picker

College GameDay made history this week in its visit to Ames, Iowa, for Iowa vs. Iowa State.
There are no ranked vs. ranked games around the country; so, the rivalry game set up the best for the show. And Ames did not disappoint.
The premier pregame show announced Saturday morning that country music star Eric Church would be the guest picker. Church has been on the show multiple times before and is a huge North Carolina Tar Heels fan. He can’t be happy with how Friday night’s game ended in controversy.
In 2019, Church has had the largest tour selling out stadiums across the country for his “Double Down Tour.” He recently broke Nissan Stadium’s attendance record with 56,521 fans.
