Eric Musselman explains why Arkansas belongs in the top 10

Eric Musselman and the Arkansas Razorbacks are red-hot right now, coming off a 75-73 home win over No. 6 Kentucky.

The Hogs have also recently taken down then-No. 1 Auburn and a ranked Tennessee team at Bud Walton Arena. So, how high should the Hogs rise in Monday’s AP Poll?

After Saturday’s win, Musselman said the Razorbacks belong in the top 10 (via On3 Sports):

“I mean, I do, but you’ve gotta watch games,” Musselman said when asked if Arkansas is top-10 worthy. “If you’re voting and stuff, you’ve gotta turn on your TV and study stats. I mean, we’ve beat Kentucky, we’ve beat Auburn, we’ve beat Tennessee, we’ve gone on the road and won some big games. … So, I think right now at this junction we’re playing really well.

“We’ve still got two hard games and we’re not satisfied at all. I want all the guys to enjoy today and then we’ve gotta start looking at our next opponent in LSU and how we can get ready to compete against them.”

The Razorbacks still have 2 tough games left to close out the regular season — vs. LSU on Wednesday night and at No. 17 Tennessee on Saturday.
